This news will certainly break your hearts, if you followed the story of the Go brothers. Recently, Hisham Go, the youngest of the Go brothers, bid his final goodbye after battling from the same disease that took away the lives of his brothers.
Hisham “Moi” Go passed away on Tuesday night of November 14 at the age of 27 from stage 4 liver cancer. The sad news was announced on his official facebook page along with his last conversation with the admin of his page.
During their last conversation, Moi was asked how was he and his relationship with God and what he feels if God’s will is different from what they’ve been praying for. Moi responded with all his heart and said that he is ready and has no regrets but full of rejoice despite all the challenges they faced as a family.
Moi passed away 9:00 PM last November 14. His remains is at St. Peter’s, Kawit Cavite and is open for public viewing. This weekend his remains will be transferred to Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental.
The end of the facebook post requested Moi’s supporters that instead of flowers, the family will much appreciate if the supporters are open to assist them financially with Moi’s remaining medical bills and expenses on his wake and burial.
Before he died, Moi went to China on October to undergo a more advanced treatment for his disease which was financed by his loved ones and supporters. However, the procedure was unsuccesful and from stage 1, his cancer progressed to stage 4.
Few years ago, Moi’s brother Rowden became viral through his wedding video marrying his girlfried while he was on his death bed. Then, his brother Hasset was featured on “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” after being diagnosed with the same type of liver cancer
It’s so tragic to think how cancer took away the lives of the Go Brothers. On a brighter note, the memories of these brothers will truly remain forever due to their well-lived lives.
As Hashim Go’s once said along with his photo, “Let’s remember him this way. No matter what” — the time when he was on his brightest.
